Soma Uses
The recommended dose of SOMA is 250 mg to 350 mg three times a day and at bedtime, taken with a full glass of water. Make sure you store Soma at room temperature away from moisture and heat.
SOMA is usually used for short periods only (2-3 weeks) because adequate evidence of effectiveness for more prolonged use has not been established because acute, painful musculoskeletal conditions are generally of short duration.

Soma Generic Precaution
There are a number of medicines that should not be taken with Soma, such as other muscle relaxants, sedatives, sleeping pills, anti-seizures, or anti-depressant medications.
Certain conditions in which this medicine cannot be given, includes: liver or kidney problems, asthma, seizures, history of drug/alcohol.
Pregnant or lactating women, or those planning to have a baby, must not take this medicine without their doctors advice.
If someone becomes pregnant while taking this medicine, then you must inform your doctor immediately.
Generic Soma is not recommended for youngsters below 16 years, and older people above 65 years.
This drug may make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive, use machinery, or do any activity that requires alertness until you are sure you can perform such activities safely. This medication passes into breast milk and may have undesirable effects on a nursing infant. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

For individuals who take this medicine for an unusually long time, and then discontinue it, the withdrawal symptoms can be very unpleasant and may cause depression, anxiety, insomnia, agitation, stomach/abdominal pain, tremors, nausea, or perspiration.
